Email setup instructions

 

To access email from a computer:

To access the HappyFeet email from a computer, go to https://webmail.intermedia.net and login with the provided email address and password.

 

 

To add an email account to an iPhone:

To add the email address to an iPhone, follow these instructions.

  • If this is the first account you are setting up on this iPhone, tap Mail and then select Other.
  • If you already have another email account set up, go to the home screen and navigate to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account.

2. Enter account information.

  • Name: Enter the name as you would like it to appear in the “From” field of the outgoing messages
  • Email or Address: Enter the email address provided to you
  • Password: Enter your email password (sent to you in a previous email)
  • Description: (Optional) How you want to identify the specific email account to yourself on your iPhone. For example: “HappyFeet”.

Tap Next.

3. Select IMAP

Incoming Mail Server

Outgoing Mail Server

  • Exact same settings as above

Tap Next. The device will detect your incoming and outgoing mail settings as well as port settings and connect to your mailbox.

4. You will be redirected back to the screen where you will see your current email Accounts. Tap back into the one you just set up. Scroll down and tap Advanced. Make sure in the Incoming Settings section the following settings are used:

  • Use SSL: On
  • Authentication: Password
  • Delete from server: Never
  • Server Port: 993

Tap the back button in the upper left of the screen. Tap SMTP under Outgoing Mail Server. Tap server name under Primary Server. In the Outgoing Mail Server section use the following settings:

  • Use SSL: On
  • Authentication: Password
  • Server Port: 587

Tap Done to complete the setup process.

 

 

To add email account to an Android phone:

1. Choose the default mail application from the list of applications.

2. Type in the email address and password of your POP/IMAP mailbox.

3. Click Manual Setup.

4. On the next screen, choose POP or IMAP.

5. Type in the incoming server settings:

  • Username: Enter your HappyFeet email address
  • Password: Enter your HappyFeet email password
  • POP (IMAP) server: Enter mail029-2.exch029.serverdata.net
  • Port: Enter 993
  • Security Type: SSL (Accept All Certificates)

6. Click Next.

7. Type in the outgoing SMTP server settings:

  • Username: Enter your HappyFeet email address
  • Password: Enter your HappyFeet email password
  • Server: Enter mail029-2.exch029.serverdata.net
  • Port: 25 (Alternative ports: 465 or 587)
  • Security Type: TLS (Accept All Certificates)
  • Require sign-in should be checked.

8. Click Next.

9. Configure additional settings.

10. On the next screen, specify any Account Name and Display Name.

11. Click Done.
